MARCOTTE FAMILY ASSOCIATION FORMED

n August 2006, in Cap-Santé, Québec Province, an Association of Marcotte Families
was re-established. The Association had previously existed in 1968 but faded a few years later.
At an August 27, 2006, Marcotte rally in Cap-Santé, 84 participants from various parts of Québec Province
elected a nine-member board of directors charged with further organization and establishment of
goals and objectives - to be discussed in October from ideas prsented at the August 27 meeting.
Association dues were set at $15 per person, per year, or $25 for a
couple residing at the same address. Overall, a family newsletter gained consensus as an initial project.

imanche le 27 août, 2006, à Cap-Santé, Québec, on a relanceé l'Association des Familles Marcotte.
84 personnes ont participé à un Rassemblement des Marcotte. Elles venaient de différents coins
de la province de Québec. L'Association était créée en 1968, mais éteinte par la suite.
Neuf élus en formeront le comité de direction. Cotisation annuelle:e $ 15.00 pour une personne
ou de $ 25.00 pour un couple vivant à la même adresse.
Parmi les suggestions reçues, le comité fixera les orientations lors de sa rencontre d'octobre.
Toutefois, la publication d'un bulletin de liaison fait l'unanimité.
